StorytellingWords form in my ears, as though they were spoken and not thought. I cup my hands around them, and I hold them, gently, for fear of their escape. But they stay there. They will not commit themselves to paper or to sound, they remain in their synaptic, abstract form. When I ask them why, they tell me that my chronology is wrong. They cannot be told before I tell the other words, the other story. The other story is blocking the passage from nervous system to muscle action, the words are demanding that I tell them first.Storytelling
I cannot tell you that story. That story will not be told, not by me, because it lacks grace or meaning. E
